Timaeus: Built by (and for) clinical research experts
In 2002, Cmed Technology leveraged the experience of Cmed (Clinical Research Services) Ltd to start from a “clean sheet of paper” and build Timaeus, a solution to intelligently manage clinical data from the perspective of clinical research experts.
More than a simple EDC (or CDM) system
Timaeus is not simply a clinical data management (CDM) system with added electronic data capture (EDC). Nor is it an EDC system with added CDM capabilities. It is a comprehensive solution to manage CRF and non-CRF data across their entire life cycle in the face of real-world challenges.
This was not easy to achieve. It required a new architecture specifically designed to provide clinical experts fast, reliable access to the data and the functionality they need from anywhere:
