Ten years ago, the founders of the Cmed Group had a vision of combining deep, full-spectrum experience in clinical services with innovative technology to provide customers a better way to manage clinical data. As a result they formed Cmed (Clinical Research Services) Ltd, a full-service CRO, and Cmed Technology Ltd, an eClinical technology company.
This combination gave Cmed an advantage that individual CROs or eClinical providers do not: the ability to combine expertise and technology from the ground up and the opportunity to demonstrate the benefits of this in real-world results for clinical trial sponsors.
Founded in 2000, the privately-held Cmed Group Ltd has its main offices in Horsham, UK. It has additional offices in Timisoara, Romania; Murray Hill, NJ USA and Durham (Research Triangle Park), NC USA.

Cmed supports a wide range of therapeutic areas, many from challenging geographical locations. Cmed (Clinical Research Services) Ltd has additional expertise in conducting early phase proof-of-concept studies, adaptive trials, oncology, anaesthesia and diabetes programmes. It has delivered many pivotal trials for some of the world’s best-known companies.
Cmed Technology Ltd, an eClinical technology provider, offers Timaeus: a single platform for electronic trial design, paper and electronic data capture, monitoring, coding, data management and reporting. Its Timaeus eClinical platform has been built to respond on-demand to the needs of investigators, data managers and study teams. Timaeus’ unique architecture uses advanced distributed cloud computing and mobile technologies to provide the freedom to manage any type of data, for any protocol, anywhere.
