Cmed (Clinical Research Services) Ltd (Cmed CS) combines expertise in clinical services expertise, process development and advanced technology to provide highly innovative trial configuration, project management, clinical monitoring, clinical data management and biostatistics services.
Cmed supports a wide range of therapeutic areas, many from challenging geographical locations. Cmed CS has additional specialist expertise in conducting early phase proof-of-concept studies, adaptive trials, oncology, anaesthesia and diabetes programmes. It has delivered many pivotal health authority-audited trials for some of the world’s best-known companies.
Founded in 2000, Cmed Technology is a privately-held subsidiary of the Cmed Group Ltd. It has its main office in Horsham, United Kingdom with additional office locations in the United States and Romania.
Driven by technology, guided by experience
Cmed’s founders started with the vision of leveraging deep expertise in clinical biomedical sciences to develop processes and technologies that would provide innovative clinical data management advantages to research organisations. This led the Cmed Group to create Cmed Technology, a software firm to develop an advanced EDC/CDM solution and Cmed CS, an eCRO to integrate use of this technology with deep clinical research expertise to provide innovative clinical services.
Cmed CSprovided expertise and insight that was critical to enabling Cmed Technology to build Timaeus to meet the real-world needs and expectations of site investigators, monitors, data managers, study managers and sponsors. Cmed CSthen tested and demonstrated that these needs were met through use of Timaeus to manage data in response to a broad range of clinical challenges:
